And I'm not even talking about crimes. But I will wager there are a lot of accidental criminals out there who stumble into trouble down a slippery slope. It doesn't make them beyond redemption. 2. I'M NOT DEFENDING ANYONE. I said I felt sorry for the guy or anyone who commits suicide thinking there's no way out. And generally, those people who think there's a line with all the good people one side and the bad on the others are either delusional or they cherry pick what stuff they consider bad.

If you could use a crystal ball to look back over the average man's career for 30 years you would find many forms of sexual harassment. That seems self evident to me. It's still wrong and hopefully we are taking steps to correct that (training & escalating). But if one of those men committed suicide for unrelated reasons I wouldn't laugh it off. Even average people do bad stuff. They hit their dogs & kids. They brutally bully and ostracize others. They lie and cheat. But to me it's not them or us. To me it permeates all people. Granted some are worse than others I suppose. But there's a saying; given enough time you very well may become what you hate. If somebody embezzles and commits suicide because they can't face being discovered it just seems a little sad, if they're leaving behind kids etc.

If you want a more in-depth cover of this case highlighting exactly what he did to these women (hearing directly from the victims) it wasn’t just harassment it was sexual assault. I suggest you listen to over my dead body season 3. It’s really disappointing to read comments like this which is basically saying “oh well there are bad men in the world what are you going to do” that’s majority of the reason why there are so many. Be the change dude, be the change.

Ted Bundy comes to mind. Ann Rule wrote a whole book about them working at a crisis hotline together and how he was such a great guy. We all know what happened there...

This one goes to show that, sometimes, those of whom we think are the most wonderful people, are totally different then the façade they show to the world. But I never thought suicide: when you said he was owing thousands, I thought he owed someone who got mad and killed him. Even as they investigated it as a potential suicide in parallel. 2. I have a bit different reaction to the case. To me it's quite sad. You blew off all the positive side of his file but surely it speaks to elements of real decency in the guy. Most of the bad citations weren't terrible. He was late to work. He got out of line at a Christmas party. Granted he had relationships with subordinates and committed sexual harassment. That Is actually pretty bad of course but half the dudes in the Corporate World are guilty of that. Blame management for not taking action with training and escalating it. But none of that deserves a death sentence. In the end, the misuse of funds was a bad decision and shows some weakness but it's kinda sad to me when people dig themselves into a bad situation with that kind of thing when, as it begins to surface they are so freaked out in the moment they can't imagine facing the music and taking the consequences and instead commit suicide. Basically he was an embezzler. How much total money did he embezzle? Sure he would likely have been fired and probably would have had to pay it back. Probably little or no jail time. And he would have had to start a new career. But it's a "throw the first stone" kind of thing. Just kinda sad that at the time he saw no way out. The dead know only one thing: it is better to be alive.
