2024-04-26 23:57:14 +0000 UTCHey, Mike, Lived in eastern and western Mass for most of my life. I’d recognize that snaggle-toothed skyline anywhere. As soon as the retired detective/tour guide said he was from Charlestown and became a cop, basically because he got into trouble as a youth and joined the military (a choice many young men made as it was military or jail. I suggest you read the book, ‘Common Ground’ by J Anthony Lukas. It describes Boston during the forced busing decade. Quite a bit of it focuses on Charlestown. I wonder what your tour guide got in trouble for? (JK, I’m not wondering one bit!) Between turtle boy and this cove, you need a better class of friends in the Bay State. Call me.

B, the fact he not a paranoid recluse with some sort of PTSD. I wonder if that's why he chose to live such a vocal life about it all... So he could release any burdens he may have carried through the years. Ehhhh... Who knows... My thoughts out loud I guess.
