Thank god you followed your gut, and didn't just try to be "nice". I went to a self-defense class, and one of the things they taught us was to stop (if someone is following you at night, on a sidewalk), turn around and yell as loudly as you can, "STOP FOLLOWING ME"! He explained that any man who has a mom, sister or mother that they love, they would understand that they were maybe following too close, and will apologize, or back off to give you some distance. If they're thinking of mugging you, they'll see that you're not afraid to confront them, and have alerted anyone in the area that there may be a problem, and they might decide you're not going to be an easy target, so they'll look elsewhere.

In about 2019, I was at a Walmart late at night grabbing some milk in the back and saw a guy looking over the partition at the closed liquor isle. I noticed him put the few items in his hands quickly down on a shelf while watching me grab my milk and then proceeded to follow about 20ft back as I walked to the register. While I was checking out, I saw him just lingering by the exit, glancing at me every few seconds. I was so creeped out, I asked the cashier to have someone walk me out to my car for the first and only time in my life. As soon as the guy saw a manager walking towards the door with me, he power walked out of the store ahead of us and I didn’t see where he went. I’m almost certain it was Phelps now. He was wearing a baseball cap so it was hard to see his face but that creepy mullet ponytail was there. I thought he looked eerily familiar at the beginning of the video then when the other guy said they prowled Walmarts, I felt sick. SW MO is a scary place.

I'm not defending these two psychos nor their "clients", if they exist - and they most probably do! By "conspiracy theory" I meant the assumption that the School of Metaphysics was a satanic cult. But, as I wrote above to KellyRae, I was wrong thinking that Mike agreed with that. My mistake. Take care, and calm down.

But I went and heard it again, and it's quite the contrary: in fact, Mike says "I'm positive they're just a group of friendly people that want to get away from everybody else". So, my mistake.
