Logistics - Zoom for The Snowball Effect and CassCon

Hey all!

And so, after the last week - we move forward and be as queer and present as we have ever been.

Here on patreon, that's starting with our zoom for The Snowball Effect next weekend!

Sunday, November 17 won the poll by a margin, so that will be when the zoom will be held. 3pm EST  (which is 12-noon PST, 8PM GMT... this is the most mental bandwidth I have right now for timezones, I apologize).

Within an hour or two of the zoom on Sunday, I will post a zoom link (that way no one has to go digging around here to find it next week).

If there are any questions regarding The Snowball Effect (or anything else book-related) you want addressed, feel free to comment it here!

You don't have to have your video or mic on - feel free to ask questions ahead of time or just pop on to join/listen in.

Logistics regarding CassCon - 

• I'm in contact with a couple of breweries for April 5. I want to be able to host it somewhere that can provide beverages and/or food (This does mean the event will be 21+! Also, please, don't feel any pressure about drinking there - I am not a drinker, so if you aren't interested in drinking for any reason, rest assured: I'll be with you on that and you won't be alone)

• What you can expect to see at the event: Lori Prince, Marisa Calin, Quinn Riley, and Bailey Carr (the lovely, talented narrators from the P-Town event) have all confirmed they will be there and will do a reading. I'll be doing a Q&A (including the narrators and Monica in it as well), and doing a little talk just about... publishing and my journey so far in this world. Will be selling other paperbacks if anyone wants to buy them & get them signed in person, as well as selling merch. Some other options being kicked around are: in-person jeopardy/quiz and/or HCLU "what character am I" quizzes

• I'm thinking that it will likely be for at least 3 hours

• Admission tickets will be $50 and will include - admission to the event, a signed copy of Midnight Rain, and a raffle ticket for the special edition Those Who Wait/Midnight Rain combination novel

• VIP Admission tickets will be $80 and will include - admission, signed copy of Midnight Rain, 2 raffle tickets, as well as a CassCon swagbag and 2 exclusive pieces of merch

• Tickets will go on sale as soon as I have all logistics planned out with the event space! Hopefully sometime in December

• There will be a limited number of tickets available, depending on the event space available, so if you know you are going to be coming, please buy your ticket (as well as a ticket for your plus-ones), within a few days of my posting the link on patreon! I'm going to post the link here, so patrons will be able to have first access to the event, and then I'll be posting the link on socials

• I'm working on a virtual attendance ticket/figuring out what that means, because I want everyone to be able to partake even if you can't make it in person! It may mean having access to the Q&A & narrator reading, maybe being shipped one of the pieces of merch or a book plate... I'm still kicking around the ideas, but there will be an option for it :)
