Questions for Patrick Chapin on the show this week?
Added 2015-02-17 08:18:59 +0000 UTCHey guys! We are having Patrick Chapin as a guest from the KS and part of that was opening up potential questions to you the listeners. I have a thread going on the lrcast subreddit, but I thought I'd open a more direct line to the Patrons here as well just in case. If you have any questions for Patrick, fire them away here! - Marshall

If it's not too late to ask a question -- Will we see more Tha Gatherin' content? "Jace, The Mind Sculptor" and the RTR/Gatecrash raps are staples in my playlist before big tournaments!

2015-02-18 02:17:18 +0000 UTCTwo questions for Patrick: 1.) What cards he had a hand in design/development while he was at Wizards? 2.) Since becoming a competitive Magic player, has that affected your ability to enjoy cards not designed for competitive Constructed play?

2015-02-17 19:32:43 +0000 UTCPatrick - having listened to you think and talk about constructed formats as a whole, how would you apply this same mentality to limited - particularly for differences between sealed and draft? In other words, what do you "want to be doing" in the format or what "matches up well against" the other cards that people will be playing in the limited metagame? What are some examples from this current format and how can the same thought process be applied to future limited formats? And how do you think about matchups between stock limited archetypes?

2015-02-17 16:56:44 +0000 UTCI would like to know Patrick's opinion about evolution of magic as a game that occurred during his carrier as professional magic player.

2015-02-17 16:04:41 +0000 UTCI have heard him comment before on side boarding differently when on the play or on the draw. Can he give examples using the Abzan Aggro deck he took to the World Championships?

2015-02-17 15:14:13 +0000 UTCIf you were to create a draft format, using any set of 3 packs (it can be a block, a single set, grab bag, etc.), and any type of drafting (booster, rochester, etc.), what would you make?

2015-02-17 14:41:33 +0000 UTCIn my Recent Drafts i have found myself picking good answers but ending up with mediocre threats because of this. How do you determine whether it is better to take a threat or an answer. Or to put it another way, how do you know if your deck wants a Valorous Stance or an Elite Scaleguard?

2015-02-17 10:04:17 +0000 UTCPatrick, since you are known as the " Innovator" I was wondering. What would you change in the game if you had your say? Would you create more/less formats? Change draft structures? Innovate away!
