Question of the Week for LR 282
Added 2015-04-24 17:43:59 +0000 UTCWe'll have Ian Duke from WotC R&D on the show to talk Tempest Remastered, so maybe aim the questions to him about that? Seems right.
Comments
Ian, what do you imagine the player base of Tempest: Remastered to look like, is it more for casual/nostalgic play, or do you also think there's room for spikes? Regarding the spike-ier demographic, what does the set have to offer to a nuts and bolts spike? It's not a format that will be played competitively, and most of the mechanics (I'm guessing) are much different than post NWO magic design/development. Finally, to just offer a third angle of approach in this lengthy question, how do you think Tempest: Remastered can serve as a tool to help limited players that weren't around for the first Tempest block? Best, Seth P.S. Thanks for all your great PT coverage (goes to Marshall and LSV too).

If so, what form did that take? I ask because being able to intelligently explain anything complex to a diverse audience is an undervalued life skill and we could all improve at it.

2015-04-27 17:59:35 +0000 UTCWhen do you know that specific cards need to be set at a new rarity? Tempest Remasters is full of cards that moved up and down - do any of them stand out to you?
