As a follow-up to your question, what strategies do you use to decide when to hold back cards?

2015-06-17 20:39:56 +0000 UTCChris, I play a lot of sealed, when you have a pool that has the most strength over two colors but slightly lacks on playables (forcing you into a small splash), or an option for a weaker pure two color pair- how do you decide.

2015-06-17 15:53:57 +0000 UTCMaybe this is a full show topic - but can you describe your process for looking at a new (fully spoiled) set but before the cards are available to everyone. What should we be looking at when we look at the set that would help us understand the limited format?

2015-06-17 15:32:03 +0000 UTCHey Chris! It's pick 1, and the current draft format is....Modern Rotisserie. If you're unfamiliar, maybe Marshall can give you a quick summary of the rules? Anyway, you've got the first pick...what are you going with? Thanks!

2015-06-17 14:32:06 +0000 UTCChris, Matt Sperling, and SGCDoc are all lawyers. Is there something about MTG that appeals to the lawyer part of your brain? Are those in your profession over represented in the population of adult players?

2015-06-17 13:17:26 +0000 UTCDoes Limited really just come down to resource management? Does the person with the most cards in hand or most creatures on the board really just always win?
Rik Speed.
2015-06-17 12:18:20 +0000 UTCWhat is the best advice you can give to newer players on sequencing your plays . I seem to always just play the card i can cast :) does not always go well :(

2015-06-17 09:26:38 +0000 UTCIf you could tell someone only one thing that would make them better at Limited, what would it be? (Someone being a mid-level player, average LR listener)

2015-06-17 08:39:51 +0000 UTCDo you have any particular tips or tricks which you use to pick up a new draft format when it's released?
Matt Carr
2015-06-17 07:53:31 +0000 UTCWhat is the best way to keep your draft from de-railing? For example, what can you do if you get misleading signals or if someone changes their colors mid-draft? Is there a way to avoid drafting a poor deck due to that situation?
Troy Navarro
2015-06-17 05:48:28 +0000 UTCAre there one or two level up moments that Chris remembers? What were they and how did they come to him?
