Hi Mike. What is your favorite limited draft format of all time, and why?

2016-03-09 17:21:44 +0000 UTCCFB/F2F seem to be consistently finding the best deck for the pro tour. Why do you think that is? With all this success, is there anything in your brewing and testing process that you would like to change or improve?

2016-03-09 14:44:18 +0000 UTCHey Mike! I'm fairly new to Magic, started in Dec 2014, and my goal right now is to win a GPT. That said, I work full time and my wife and I will be having our first child in July. Do you have any advice on how to improve when dealing with less prep/training time than would like? Also, LSV - any advice to a soon-to-be nerd parent?

2016-03-09 09:28:26 +0000 UTCSiggy, huge fan - you're an absolute savant and a pleasure to watch, always enjoy the insights you share. Marshal and LSV often talk about curve, curve considerations, etc. I have watched MS draft 10+ 2 drop white black ally decks on CFB, LSV seems to be a 4-4-4-3-2-1 type drafter. I notice you tend to have a propensity to play 6 or so 3 drops in limited from the matches and decks I have seen you play. I know frank Karsten discuss curve baselines as a number per mana cost to play. How do you approach your curve when drafting? Lower for aggressive decks (if you played many) and towards the 3-4+ drops for control? Different in sealed versus limited? What about this format? Different than Origins (less 2 drops), OTW sealed (every 7+ drop you open). Marshal? LSV?

2016-03-09 03:31:51 +0000 UTCWhat is your favourite limited format outside of the usual suspects (Innistrad, cube and such)? Kind of how LSV is a fan of Kamigawa block drafts,
