RW has disappointed in general, and this deck was heavily dependent on the powerhouse cards it has (Verix, Shalai, On Serra's Wings, Serra Angel) while leveraging a reasonable if clunky suite of removal. The rest is very mediocre filler.
My finals opponent had a super interesting 4 color deck built around 4 Ghitu Chronicler, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, and Urza's Ruinous Blast that used a UR wizards base to splash for green and white for various legendary creatures (I saw 2x Adeliz, 2x Danitha Capashen, 1x Radha that I remember). They would then loop the legendary sorceries with Chronicler. Pretty sweet.
In Game 3 of the finals I just used all of my removal on anything creature that said legendary on it, but still barely won. Getting Immolating Inferno'd three times in one game hurts, just for the record :)

I got crushed yesterday by a WR draft deck running auras and equipment. Kwende was strong, as were the 2-mana 1/1s that get +2/+2 when attached to an aura - a savage beating when they're wearing the +2/+1 menace aura. The deck is there, but like other synergy decks in the format, it requires a minimum threshold of the key pieces to really be good.
