I think you're underestimating Hired Blade - the early game in M19 is pretty 1/3 dominated, and it snaps off your opponent's turn 2 Daybreak Chaplain, Omenspeaker or Diamond Mare pretty much without them having the ability to interact. And how many times have you seen someone Druid of the Cowl on turn 2 and only have a 3 drop in hand, so they confidently swing? All of that on top of trading up with Bristling Boar and Star-Crowned Stag, the latter after it's already targeted with the tap so they can't even stop you. Don't think of it as a Loxodon Linebreaker with minor upside, think of it as a Gideon's Reproach that can go to the face.

Hi Marshall and Woody, thanks for answering my question in a very exhaustive way. That was very insightful :)

I feel the same way, except I also trust Marshall to tell us as much as he is able. That he has not been more open strongly implies to me that whatever's going on is something he's not at liberty to talk about, or that airing it publicly wouldn't be good for the show. I appreciate that he's continued to produce quality episodes despite what I have to assume is a difficult time.

I love these episodes, Woody has been fantastic. But I'm bothered by the lack of communication on LSV's not being on the show. I think it needs to be addressed either on Patreon or on the show directly... it's frustrating not hearing anything for about a month (and even then it was vague) and feeling in the dark about the future of the podcast we love so much. I want to be clear, it's not that I haven't enjoyed this last month, I have very much. It's that there hasn't really been clear communication with the listeners and contributors... even if the update is something along the line of "we are still working on it!" it would make me feel better.
