Limited Resources 506 – Limited Mythbusters

As someone who never played most limited formats when they were current, I was really interested to hear the explanation on Flashback Drafts being bad. I drafted trip khans a few days ago and the draft itself was fun, but I noticed a little late that my Mardu deck was probably not going to be as good as I wanted and that Jeskai was open. It ended up with me getting crushed pretty hard in my matches, and I can agree that when you're at a table with 6 sharks and you're one of the 2 minnows, that can be a pretty bad feeling...but the draft experience was fun, and I really enjoyed Khans and would love to draft it again if there was a way to get other folks who hadn't done it before...which is kind of an impossibility on MTGO, which means having a local group at the same level as me.

I really enjoyed this episode. I feel like the discussion and back and forth really helped give a more nuanced perspective about the points you were making because things are not black and white so a big part of getting better for me at this point is finding the times when I should not be following heuristics. How far can I stray away from accepted practice to find an edge.
