A similar alternative would be chapter support, which I would like. This would let people who have heard the ad reads skip over them easily and would also be great when listening back to a format breakdown and skipping to the section on red-white, for example. Or chapters for Intro, K, E, T, O, conclusion.

2021-09-21 12:28:11 +0000 UTCA different request about ads/sponsors. I've accepted that LR will now have more ads and sponsors then before. Regardless of the content of who those are (and my feelings would be the same if crypto, soda, streaming services, movies, whatever) - my want / request would be ad ad-free patreon tier. I object to both paying to support the show and getting ads. And based on what I know about the ad industry, I would think an extra $1/episode would more then cover any lost revenue from the ads. I listen to lots of podcasts. They generally fall into a few buckets. Patreon only. Ad only. Ads with patreon opt out. I can't think of any offhand where I have a way to pay directly and still get ads. I am the type person that will gladly buy a show off itunes for $2 over watching it on free tv with ads. Please, give us an option like this. Love and respect for all the years of enjoyment you've given me
