Hi guys. Luis, in some prior episodes you've mentioned that you played fighting games when you were younger. As such, I just wanted to hear your take on Evo moment 37 (Daigo vs Justin, Evo 2004), and what you think the closest equivalent in Magic is.

2022-12-05 18:37:24 +0000 UTCIs there a spreadsheet of your card ratings posted or is that up to a dedicated Patreon to create it for the community?

2022-12-03 12:56:40 +0000 UTCHow do you organize / store your cards? Since you mainly play limited do you sell your cards to make room for the new set or keep them for collecting / other formats?

2022-12-03 12:53:58 +0000 UTCHi guys. Recently I had some thoughts about how my perception of Magic has changed over the course of the past ten years; afterwards I noticed that my perception of christmas has also changed much in the past ten years, which I think is a pretty natural thing for the most people. In a few words, what has changed for the two of you, thinking of MTG and/or christmas, in the last ten years? I'm 42 btw. Thank you so much for the podcast, keep it going. 😘

2022-12-03 08:02:32 +0000 UTCHi Marshall and Luis! I've found myself so pleased with the quality and variety of limited formats we've been getting the last could years and it feels like limited design is in a really great place and its playership keeps growing. how do you see the contrast between that and the outcry about the arguably unhealthy pace of new/supplemental products and apparent growing dissatisfaction with the direction Hasbro seems to be pushing the game including there the hubbub about the Bank of America report and the stock slide, etc. I'm wondering how these two contrasting trends will effect the next 5+ years of Magic and if the future viability of the paper vs digital is part of that discussion as well. all I know is, as long as the sets remain this fun to draft, I'm not going anywhere. thanks so much for everything you both do for the community. the podcast remains a highlight of my week and the team draft showdown remains absolute must see tv for me. take care and happy holiday season to you both!!

2022-12-03 07:56:39 +0000 UTCHi, Guys! I was playing 4-pack sealed at my LGS, and I had a doozy of a round 3 at the winner's table. Game one was an action-packed stalemate that went the full 50. After turn 5, -both libraries were empty- and we drew. (Had there been a turn 6, I'd have won.) I had tucked Platinum Angel on the bottom of my library from the yard to get the game to that state. Anyway, what is your favorite Platinum Angel story, -or-, what's the wackiest end to a game of Magic that you've experienced?

2022-12-03 07:05:24 +0000 UTCHello Marshall and Luis! I hope you are doing well! I have a friend who nearly always plays 16 lands in his draft decks, and often does very well, but we always tease him when he complains about being mana screwed. Can you describe your process for determining how many lands you should run in your deck? How often do you go less than seventeen?

2022-12-03 04:40:08 +0000 UTCHello Marshall and Luis. How do you envision the podcast to be in the medium to long future? Will you still be doing this in 5 years? What about 10 years?

2022-12-03 00:06:43 +0000 UTCHi Guys, our WildSnakes (#mtgdads) group has recently tried team drafting. At least for me it was a disaster. I had a super clunky deck with cards from all over the place. I think in this situation it was rather me not finding out which colors I should be drafting, but still, is there any advise you could give on team drafting? Again, cheers from the Wildsnakes from my basement. Our little mtg group is growing strong, even with our own logo (copyright by one of the Wildsnakes https://postimg.cc/yJRpWHdQ). Take care both of you! Thanks again for the awesome content! Tym

2022-12-02 22:08:00 +0000 UTCHi, Marshall and Luis? Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? Thanks, love the show!

2022-12-02 21:44:43 +0000 UTCHi Marshall and LSV. I’m grateful that you two still make content. But it seems to me that Magic hasn’t had a new generation of broadly known pros in some time - new LSVs, Reid Dukes, Christian Calcanos, Autumn Burchetts, etc. Am I just out of touch? If so, who are some of the new pros I should get to know? If not, why do you think we have a dearth of new pros? should that trend be reversed, and if so, how?

2022-12-02 21:44:03 +0000 UTCHi, Marshall and Luis. Cheers from Brazil. We all love drafting, and LR talks about most draft formats, from standard sets to masters and cube drafting. Have you ever considered doing an episode on chaos draft? p.s.: I'm one of the international CFB Pro orphans. Please make the content available for us again :'-)

2022-12-02 21:39:16 +0000 UTCHi Marshall and Luis- With some of the recent changes to the bird website, I've been looking for alternatives for social media. I've found fairly good options for most topics, but haven't found good alternatives for Magic and my favorite content creators. Can you make any good recommendations for alternatives you've been hearing about or potentially exploring in your circles? Thanks!
