Re the Rare/Mythic review question: No one needs to be told Glorybringer is a ridiculous bomb or that an artifact that only affects planeswalkers is unplayable. But there are cards in between which might not be so easy to evaluate. This was a long time ago but I had a Tireless Tracker in my pre-release pool, looked at it and thought "huh seems pretty good I should run this" and of course it turned out to be over the top amazing. So, perhaps you could do a show called Sleepers and Traps, maybe with fun dueling lists of 5 cards each that might either be overlooked but actually quite good or seem much better than they actually are. Downside of course is you may use up a good deal of the argument/controversy equity the rares and mythics have to offer for a given set before the actual review.

LSV is there really a huge emphasis on limited pro tour testing when it would seem all the info you could learn is available on 17lands. What are you trying to do that can't be found on 17lands?

Hey guys, wanted to give my feedback about the question posed at the end of the last episode. Totally understand that it's difficult to put out both the C/U and the R/M reviews within such a tight time frame. One suggestion I would give is: maybe a new episode type that's more like a prepared "archetypes overview" preview to the set, rather than a 'live react' to a massive card list. Give people the basics of the mechanics and some key cards. Beginner-focused is OK, we're all experiencing this in real time too. Bonus points if we can get this on YouTube with card images :) I would stop short of replacing the C/U Set Review episodes with this- because I think they're iconic, and a lot of people actually like the length. But maybe it's an alternative to the R/M episode? As for the 'format lifespan' - I have a kid, and busy schedule, so it actually takes me a lot longer to work through the set than most of the content creators. I absolutely do not mind ongoing format content, even on week 4, 5, 6 etc. Thanks guys, love the show.

My 2cents on the Rare/Mythic review; break it into pieces. Off the top of my head, either host would be able to look over the card list and pick out the As and Fs in a matter of minutes. You have multiple options from there; maybe put them in their own mini-review episode that you can have out sooner because it's much shorter and easier and "Always/Never play" is a great episode for newer players needing a grokkable level up for their pre-release. Or you could fold them into a segment of the format overview if making that show a bit longer is doable. The Bs through Ds are where the most useful discussion is so they should get to keep their own episode but again you can hopefully have an easier time scheduling it.

I find myself mostly using LR to supplement experience in a given format because I am a 2x drafts/week player. I've found with arena and drafting online being live sooner, I feel behind as soon as day 1 and never really get caught up. I wish there was a way that I could still be a participator even though I can't draft a whole lot
