2024-02-18 18:06:31 +0000 UTCThank you for the validating rant about all the formats feeling the same recently and shutting out build-arounds in favor of curving out. Before getting to revisit KTK, I thought my lack of enjoyment was my own depression getting worse, but after actually having fun with KTK (and getting into Vintage Cube), I realized I needed to find another relaxing activity besides retail draft for the sake of my mental health... unless a set looked perfect. And MKM looked perfect. The whiplash from excitement to disappointment after allowing myself hope has not been good for me. If either of you (or anyone) has recommendations for games to satisfy my inner Johnny/Jenny until an actually fun set comes along, I'd love to hear it. HS Battlegrounds and wacky Hades runs are sadly about the best I can manage right now.
