Hey Marshall and Luis, after hearing Luis talk about Winston Draft in the sign-off, I had to reach out! My friend and I developed a method of drafting cube (we used vintage cube, but it can be adapted to any cube) that is specifically tailored to drafting with 2-4 players. The drafting is based on economy based deckbuilding games like Dominion or Hero Realms, but you end up with regular cube decks to play with. In our testing so far, the decks drafted pretty closely resemble regular vintage cube decks (we never played the actual games as we were too excited about optimizing the drafting process). Once we were satisfied with the balancing of the drafting process, we created a playable version of the drafting process (with vintage cube cardfiles included) on playingcards.io, that anyone can access by downloading the file for it. We also created a digital instruction manual to easily and visually explain the drafting process. This is a project we are very excited about, and you were the first limited aficionados that came to mind when thinking about who to share it with first!
