Honestly the beat to Marble Floors rides that line between "hard drill" and "dentist drill" and leans a bit too much into the latter, so I don't care for it. The 2Chainz verse was great though, the fucking breast cancer line got me good. Shabba's probably my favorite as well, especially the remix with Ferg just going off. Compared to how sleepy he is on the original cut, this was a good burst of energy I didn't think the song needed but welcomed. Stop It is like a lot of Juicy J cuts, though, in one ear and out the other. I appreciate Mike Will Made It's beats from these days a bit more than I used to but I've never really cared for Juicy J outside his ThreeSixMafia days. Hip hop's in a weird spot with its newcomers, too, XXL don't got the same hype it used to, but Scarlip seems like the best newcomer from that area. That Mexican OT seems like he's got some good staying power too. But I also wanna start looking more into underground stuff, especially more of the def jux/rhymesayers folks (beyond aesop rock)

Even Luck
