RSS Feeds for our audio posts
Added 2024-07-31 21:57:06 +0000 UTCHey everyone. Accidentally sent out Crubcast #63 to everyone instead of just the specific tiers, consider that a Christmas in July gift from us to you. It's accidentally great timing to mention that our audio files will now be going to individualized RSS feeds that you can plug into your podcast app of choice. For as long as you are pledged to eligible tiers (i.e., Founder, the video tier with the podcast, and the audio tier) new audio file uploads you can receive will quickly be sent out to your specific feed. From testing it myself, episode 63 was up within minutes.
Minionman and Urkman helped me with locking this down over in the Discord server, thanks again to them.
On Desktop Patreon, you'll want to go to the Membership tab for us and you'll find this below.
As the screencap suggests (thank you, Minionman), you can also link Patreon to your Spotify and access the feed from there if you prefer Spotify. It should seamlessly show up for you once you've connected the accounts.
On mobile, you'll be looking for something like this screencap from Urkman.
From there it's just finding where to paste the RSS link into your podcast app! This should go a lot better than coming to Patreon and grabbing the file every time there's an audio post. That said, due to how this works, that will continue being an option if you prefer that way or want to directly download the audio files to keep them.
