Our Mid-April Newsletter

It has truly been 23 months of Crub, later this week our 100th episode will release. That means that late next month we'll be celebrating 2 years of existing. It won't make us happy, but it will make us feel some kind of contentment.

That's what it says! Justin and Kevin talk NBA playoff predictions. This went up for audio tier members in the middle of the night. I'll be honest, I haven't listened to it so maybe they talked about Power Rangers or something instead. But I'm trusting them that it's what they discussed. They were probably right about the predictions they made.

Last week we released episode 21 of Podcastémon covering Pokemon The Movie 2000. Our hot take is that honestly, it wasn't very good. We wanted to like it! We instead made fun of the villain whose name we had to Google since we're 99% sure it wasn't in the movie. We've been approached by some who feel our opinions were wrong, which we think makes us even more correct in the modern internet age.

Since we're on the cusp of our 2-year anniversary, I'll sneak a #leak into this post that I haven't gotten approval for. Sometime next year we will be making Podcastémon into a public podcast feed. Episodes will still be posted early here for audio members, same as always, but if you haven't yet been convinced to join that tier then perhaps by then you can sample the show, and we can ultimately win you over. That's probably about a year away though, so by the time we actually do that you'll forget this was ever leaked.
