His Breeder part 17

Over the next few days, Nebula and Lamara accompanied Kira to check on the mystery girl. Nebula felt genuine pity for her. She was distraught and distant, seeming to be drowning in worries but unable to communicate them.

The silent girl surfaced feelings that Nebula didn’t know existed.

Although she made a mess out of Nebula’s life, Nebula still didn’t wish her ill. The girl clearly didn’t want to be there and needed help. Nebula knew firsthand how frustrating it was to be dragged out of your world and into another.

This mystery girl wasn’t an enemy. She was just an awakening force.

Kira supported Nebula as best as she could. She assured that she was there if Nebula needed to talk. The problem was that Nebula had nothing else to say. The cards had fallen. Her sick endearment for Akdronis came to light, and she was determined to squash it before it became a consuming monster.

She checked the tin-can she used for a mirror. She was dressed in her finest furs: a salt-and-pepper colored dress. Most of her dresses were tied on one shoulder, but this one had a sweetheart neckline. 

Her hair was half-tied, half-free. A bun at the back of her head collected most of her curls. For her makeup, she used some petal-pigmentation to taint her lips.

She looked… feminine, although she didn’t quite need the makeup or dresses to communicate her sex. Every man in The Capital could identify who she was, even if she wore a bag over her head.

She was a mess on the inside, but at least she didn’t look like one on the outside. 

She smiled. “Time to go date an alien, I guess.”

She smoothed down her dress one last time. Her figure was very similar to Kira’s– having more ass than breasts, but she still filled out the dress nicely. After tying her sandals in place, she slipped out of her room. Draekon stood straight and turned to her. 

He scanned her from head to toe, his confusion growing starker. “You look… different.” He sniffed the air. “You smell different, too.”

She fussed with a fistful of her dress. “Yeah. I’m hoping to go on a date.”

“A date? You wish to know what day of the year it is?”

She chuckled. “No. A date is like… when you spend time with someone to get to know them better.”

Draekon shrugged. “Well alright, then. Let us go. It is not like I have anything better to do but guard you. What would you like to know about me?”

“Oh, I don’t think you understand. Dating is… when you have an interest in making someone your mate.”

He took a step backward. “Nevermind, then.”

She raised an eyebrow. She had absolutely no interest in dating Ak’s brothers. Granted, all of the males were built like the Gods gift to Ezron, and they were talented, loyal men. It would just be too weird to get entangled with any of them. She didn’t want to inspire bad blood between the brothers.

“Let’s go. Can you help me find Wo’ton?”

She wasn’t sure who to ask out. She didn’t keep good tabs on the men, being too distracted by her work with Kira. It seemed natural to seek out Wo’ton’s grandsons. After Vrox and his brothers, Wo’ton and his family were next in the chain of trust.

All of Wo’ton’s grandsons seemed to be around her age. She didn’t know much about them, but she figured thats what the dates will be for. They’ll fill in the gaps and help her find a suitable baby daddy. Who knows, maybe she’ll end up drunk in love like Kira and Lamara.

She followed Draekon down the pyramid and toward the camp. Although Wo’ton was allowed to sleep in the pyramid, he often slept outside with the rest of the men. His grandsons were always nearby. That was another thing that Nebula appreciated. The grandsons took care of their fragile, old grandfather.

“There is Zuten,” Draekon pointed.

Zuten was the middle son. He was the shortest among the brothers, but still built like a linebacker. Most of the men his age were the same. His scales protected his feet, and his eyes were dark. From a distance they looked brown, but they were actually a deep violet.

“Zuten!” she waved him over.

He dropped the basket he was carrying and jogged over to her side. He was naked, and she had to throw her head back to avoid looking at his swinging cock.

“Greetings.”

“Mothers.”

“Uh, hi.”

Zuten focused on her. “How may I help you?”

“Well…”

This conversation would be much easier if he was wearing a loincloth.

“I was wondering if you would like to spend time with me? Just to talk.”

Zuten crooked his head. “About what?”

“Like… about yourself. I’m…” she cringed. “I’m looking for a male to father my children.”

Back on Earth, that sentence would have sent men for the hills. Here on Ezron, where there were only a handful of women in existence, men would jump at the opportunity.

Zuten swallowed hard, looking nervous all of a sudden.

“I cannot. Forgive me.”

He grabbed his basket and rushed to where he came from.

Nebula was left high and dry like a fool. She wasn’t expecting a rejection, especially one that was so curt.

She threw her head back and smoothed out her skirt. The day wasn’t over yet. Surely, one of Wo’ton’s grandsons would give her a second glance. She couldn’t be that unwanted. She was one of the two available women. Kira was knocked up by their Commander, Lamara was tripping over her heavy belly, and the mystery girl seemed too traumatized to offer pleasantries.

Surely, someone would want Nebula.

She followed Draekon for a few minutes as they searched for the other grandsons. Men stopped and stared as she passed, looking star-stuck. She kept her gaze low.

“There is Xixulo,” Draekon pointed.

Nebula followed his eyes and found the oldest grandson chatting with another man.

Here goes nothing.

“Hey, Xixulo,” she waved from the distance.

The man took one look at her, turned, and practically ran away.

What in the… 

She crossed her arms and glared at Draekon. “Spill it. What are you not telling me?”

Draekon shrugged. “I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“Tell me, or… or I’ll hug you. I swear I will.”

As odd as it was, Ezronians weren’t fans of physical contact. She would weaponise this fact if that meant getting the truth out of Draekon.

He shifted his weight from one leg to another, looking like he was hesitating.

Nebula spread her arms and took a step forward.

“Alright!” Draekon caved, raising an arm as if to demand distance.

“Word has gotten around that Akdronis placed a claim on you. None of the other men want to go against him, so they are avoiding your advances. I do not believe that anyone will want to go on one of your dates with you.”

"Akdronis…” she practically growled. “That son of a…”

She turned and ran to the pyramid.

“When I get my hands on that… ugh!”

He couldn’t have her, so he was making sure that no one could have her either? How selfish could a man be?

“Nebula, slow down. You will hurt yourself,” Draekon pleaded.

She ran up the steps, hunting down Akdronis’ bed room. He wasn’t guarding any of the rooms she passed, and he wasn’t inside his room.

“He is not here. Let us go.”

“No.”

Although she knew it was rude, she pushed past the curtain and entered Ak’s space.

“I’ll wait for him right here. You can stay and wait with me, or you could leave, but I’m not moving from here. It’s about time that your brother and I have this conversation.”
