Preg-Not part 54

I’m still not sure what to name the babies! 

Raelynn’s back reached the wall, and Maksim pinned her by her hips.

She raised a hand and touched his chest to ward him off. This was heating up too fast, too quickly.

Seeing her reluctant resistance, Maksim took a step back.

“Why was she here?” Raelynn panted. “I thought she wasn’t around anymore.”

“She doesn’t work with me anymore. She was transferred.” Maksim leaned in to steal a final peck. He reached into her arms, and picked up the baby. “I’ll settle him down. Go take a seat before you faint.” He left before she could protest, so she walked to the couch and curled in it.

She got her boys back, and apparently, she and Maksim were a thing again. She murdered Maksim’s mother, and nearly murdered Maksim’s assistant, too. There was a lot that she needed to process.

“What are you thinking?” Maksim suddenly sank on the seat beside her, and his weight made her fall against his side. He was more than happy to drag her to his lap.

Raelynn looked up at him and swallowed. His hair was messy, eyes narrowed, lip quirked. There was no longer a baby around to save her.

“Are they asleep?”

He nodded. “Snoring just like their daddy. Why do you look troubled?”

“I killed your mom, Maksim. Are you really not bothered by that? This is twisted, in a sense”

“No, because I would have done it myself. She was evil, and was going to be taken down one way or the other.” He kissed her hair. “Stop thinking about it.”

“I want to request something. Can I do that?”

His fingers sneaked up her shirt and caressed her back. “You gave me children. Of course you can.”

“I want you to go legit, but keep doing dirty work on the side for justice. No more gun trading, drug selling, or whatever majorly shady shit that happens. Can you do that?”

He sighed. “Guns are out of the question, but the rest… it can be explored, although my father will fight me every step of the way. Why do you want to do this?”

“Because when I played vigilante with Knives and got a crooked cop locked away. It felt great, but there was only so much I could do with such little power. The Mexican guy that you used to work with called, and thanked you for killing the sicko that raped his daughter. There is so much that can be done for the world if you play a little dirty, but I don’t like the thought of you pulling in money by fueling addictions.”

Maksim blew a breath. “This will not happen overnight.”

It wasn’t a rejection.

She hugged him and laid her head on his shoulder.

“Rest. I have you now, and you have me, and the boys have us.”

Maksim was there every single day for the past three weeks. He moved them to a new penthouse that was “baby-proof,” although the babies couldn’t even crawl yet.

He was eager to help. He asked questions, spent half his fortune on things for the twins they would never use, and Googled ridiculous questions when he thought she wasn’t looking.

She raised both eyebrows when she saw the man Google, “do babies realize they are sitting in their own feces?”

Nights were interesting. They slept in the same bed with the crib in the corner, and they pretended like they weren’t thinking about each other. The babies kept them busy since they still woke continuously through the night, but the sexual tension gave them no mercy.

Raelynn once thought he was sexy when he bathed her heavily pregnant body. Now, watching his chest drip as he bathed his sons was downright dangerous. She let one too many meals burn because she was busy peeking at a wet Maksim.

“We should buy an air filter.”

She lowered her phone. “A what? What’s wrong with the air here?”

“Nothing, but getting the dust out of the air might be good for them.”

“It’s impossible to avoid dust, Maksim. Stop throwing your money away.”

He laid beside her on the bed. “On a more serious note, I tracked down the doctor.”

“The one that declared the babies dead?”

He nodded. “Yes. I’m stalking him for a week or two to get as much information as possible, and then I’ll swoop in.”

Slowly but surely, they were getting revenge. Everyone that played a big role in the kidnapping of the twins was getting what was coming for them.

“I have to take this. Excuse me.” He picked up his phone, and left to answer it. Ten minutes later, he returned fully suited. “I’m needed at the company.”

She figured this would happen eventually. Maksim couldn’t go on vacation forever. He already dedicated weeks to being home for them.

“It’s alright.”

“I’ll return as soon as possible. The twins are still asleep, so relax.”

He left quickly later, and a strange surge of panic hit Raelynn. She hadn’t spent much time alone with the babies. Maksim had always been there to help her out.

She scrolled through her phone to look at the few pictures she snuck of him. He looked happy in his boxers, stubble, messy hair, and stain that looked suspiciously like baby puke.

When she realized that she had zoomed in on Maksim’s junk, she groaned.

“Come on, Rae. Be an adult.”

She couldn’t stop thinking about sex.

“Okay,” she encouraged herself. “Just be mature and ask him. Communication is key. You had babies with him. This should be okay.”

She couldn’t phantom how she would even bring up that request to his face, so she pulled up the messaging app. Should she text it? It was the safer option, since she wouldn’t have to see his face.

Are you busy? 

Maksim quickly replied with, what do you need?

Nothing. Will you be home soon? 

Did you want something? Diapers?

No. I just had an idea. Maybe I can make dinner, and we can eat once the babies are down. And then maybe, if you’re up for it, and I totally understand if you’re not because you haven't been getting much sleep… would you maybe like to have sexual intercourse? 

She sent it, and then instantly planned her death. “Sexual intercourse?” Who the fuck says that?" She pulled at her hair. “You awkward bitch.”

A typing bubble appeared as Maksim began to reply. Then it paused, and then it continued.

Because she hated herself, she added, it would of course be protected sexual intercourse. I shaved, and we can turn off the lights.

Maksim stopped typing and called her instead. Raelynn considered tossing her phone out the window.

“Ehem,” she answered and dug her fingernails into her thighs. “Hello?”

“Raelynn.”

“Yes?”

“Did you snort baby formula up your nose?”

She hung up and groaned. Of course Maksim would make fun of her. She deserved it for being an idiot.

A new text arrived.

I will gladly fuck you tonight. On your hands and knees, while you face the crib and remember that the same man that gave you those babies is flooding your pussy all over again.  

Another text followed.

No condoms. You can use plan B if you want it. I’d have no reservations against another baby. 

And there was another text.

Love you.

Raelynn was left trying to keep up with the tornado that was Maksim.
