Jasmin’s story Can be read as a stand alone, but best if read after The Alien’s Match.

After she failed to be successfully matched with a dragon, Jasmin quits the matching program and returns to Earth, alone and lost. She’s sure she’ll never step back on planet Le’vris, but then the girls come to her for help and ask her to save the Matching program by seducing a powerful dragon. Jasmin is conflicted. She’s tired of starting over; of leaving Earth for a chance at love only to fail. Her match in the program– Errol, had been a calm, detached soul. If she couldn't steal his heart, what makes the girls think she can tame an infamously grouchy dragon? She suspects this will end in disaster, but chooses to help her friends. She packs her bags and walks into the dragon’s den. Things become fiery from day one, as her surly, hardened match confuses her for a prostitute and Jasmin decides to play along.

“Oh, no.” I raise my hands. “This is a misunderstanding. I’m not her.”

How did I get myself in this ridiculous situation? My shirt was ripped a little, revealing some of my belly, but surely that can’t be enough to make me look like a prostitute. My body language screams anxious, and my hair and makeup show no effort.

“Do you have a cunt?” he grunts, eyes hooded with displeasure. He’s probably used to being treated like a king. Few dare to stall and keep him from getting what he wants, and based on his demeanor, keeping him from getting his dick wet is a grave sin.

“What? Well of course, I do.” I extend the letter Crux wrote for him. If he reads it, he’ll understand who I am and why I was sent.

He ignores the letter. “Then you’ll do. Bend over.”

“But I said I’m not who you think I am!” I insist.

“Is this your first time doing this?”

Yes, yes it is my first time in every sense. I’ve never spread my legs for any man and this crude, mean dragon is demanding I bend over!

I lower my arm and stare at him. He’s impossible. I’m supposed to seduce this brute? I’d have more luck walking through fire. It looks like I’m going to fail this mission, and it hasn’t even started.

Maybe… maybe it doesn’t have to be so hard. Maybe if I give him a taste of what he wants, dangling myself like a shiny jewel, he will cave in.

I take a shaky step forward and the last bit of my bravery runs out. Now I stand before him like a deer in the headlights.

That seems to be enough for him. He swoops in, and on his very doorstep, wraps me in his arms for the world to see.

“You can stop the innocence act,” he says, bending down to sniff my neck. “What is this scent on you?”

It’s either fear, or the scent that distinguishes me as human since dragons smell differently.
