These studies are super fast sketches using DEADENDTHRILLS screenshoots. The owner of the webpage aswell as the photos is a veteran screen and video capture artist for videogames. Check out his gallery! It's pretty amazing and compositions are spot on.
The exercise I created for myself to learn composition and scenery has a single and simple rule.
Use only 3 tones. This way you can see depth using the darkest as shadow but also as nearest objects.
Good news is I just told you how cool this is! Bad news is...It's only for Beholder tier
Which also contains anatomy and notes (yes, the +18 will usually be for nudes, but I like dark drawings too! So expect both.
