Hileywinn Lore posts coming for instagram

Some have been asking for more fairies, more lore, more fantasy and small illsutrations. Now I've decided to get to it, bit by bit. I started writing small lore text to post in IG entries, so the sketches will come slowly but surely. It's also something I've been really wanting to do, so there's that!

This is the first sketch of probably many. Hopefully this will help me get some comics done too.

"1. A bit of the past.

There’s nothing wrong with being ambitious. Until the harm of innocents involved is needed in order to obtain more power.

Reckar was a man of no measure, but so was he. His will to crush that worm was unmeasurable. He hadn’t been in Horynomi, but just from the reports, he knew. There had to be something to be done about it. The other kingdoms had been turning a blind eye on the matter. He had known the existence of bribes running down his lands, like melted ice. The news hadn’t been well received, but all the same for his complaints when assessing the problem in Court. As Crown Prince of Yibaotu, it was his duty to care for his citizens and assure himself a good spot in Winter society, next to a well bred fae. He was just a pawn to expand power inside their own kingdom. He would not make offspring under said premises. If he was to build a family, he would make sure it was a happy and loving one.

To hell with the expectations everybody laid on him. He didn’t wish for the riches, he didn’t wish for endless paperwork, but he did wish people to live the best lives they could. So, since he was aware Horynomi’s people were suffering and no one stood ground, the decision had been made.

He would flee with or without permission."

The lore starts looking at the past. A relevant character takes the initiative and changes his own fate, risking his honor, probably expecting rejection from his own people for a long, long time. But he's doing it for a good reason. The lesser evil will help a whole country, so he'll probably won't regret his choice, ever.
