Hey everyone! As I was working on the ebony update, I had an idea for how I want to update the glass retexture and starting working on it.
I am redoing almost all the textures and will finally address the issue where the glass armor pieces don't all match with each other. Unfortunately, this means I need to modify the meshes' settings to make them all use the same cubemap. Which is not hard to do but means any mods adding new glass armor meshes or tweaking them will need to be patches. I will do my best to cover everything that is popular and post a small tutorial on how to create these patches (literally takes 30 seconds per mesh). After having done lots of tests, I can say I truly believe this extra work patching is well worth it
Overall, the armors and weapons will look brighter and shinier, as you would expect from high level light armors!
I am also working on my own multi-parallax/refractive glass version, which will be optional.
I am also thinking of making the 2 amidianborn addon versions available as replacers for the vanilla glass set, for people not using the amidianborn content addon.
