Still I agree, love this story but feel there are so many moving parts with all the other stories (and this one was apparently going to be longer but author cut it shorter) and it just feel like there are a few too many short cuts in this particular story that we are supposed to believe…when normally their writing tends to be so detail oriented and thoroughly explained.

How many visitors with other Lunas have been at his house in all this time. So you can't say woman intuition when all the other women didn't notice either. And with her being his shadow they would have certainly seen her around him.

Millie figured it out in a matter of weeks(I believe that's how long they been there) but somehow octavious who is her mate hasn't figured it out in 10yrs or mo one else in the pack figured it out. She was doing the exact same thing when million was there. She didn't do anything different. So how did million figure it out. And it has to be more than because they both were hiding from their mates.
