Hahaha, I cannot wait until she replies to one of his furious questions of “why?!” with a cool “to start, you don’t even know my effing name after 10years!” But in all seriousness, totally see both sides of the story, even if I think Octavius has less of a reason, ultimately, for being angry in the end. She was in an impossible position after her mother told her the reason she can’t tell anyone, but sacrificed her own happiness to at least be near him so that he *could* connect with her should he have been the kind of person to actually ‘see’ the people of lower statuses around him. Which he did not. He had 10 years of chances to build any type of a rapport with her—not even romantically, just even a friendly one, since she has acted as the person who took care of his every waking need…and he didn’t. At a certain point he really can’t blame her for all of it, even if he has the right to feel hurt, he certainly can’t begrudge her forever. Hopefully she grows enough of a spine once it all comes to light to make sure he knows all that too!

I hope he shows her the hurt side of him in the next chapter so she can feel terrible for her choices. I don’t know if I could forgive someone for doing that for TEN years. Yeah, he’s kind of a jerk for not having gotten to know her or the other staff at all during that time and not having her name right, but it doesn’t remotely compare to what she did.

She does changed her mind, longing for him to notice and she has her reasoning, which she’s mentioned about her father, but she should’ve come out earlier too. I mean, they’re both at fault but if our girlie is suffering, she definitely would’ve saved herself a whole world of pain by coming out, showing herself and guaranteeing protection from whoever with her alpha mate.

She gave you a chance to get to know her without the mate bond to see if you would still recognise her but you didn’t. I didn’t blame her for I see why she hid it. You will only love me with the influence of the mate bond not out of your own free will and choice. And don’t forget he doesn’t even know her name…..
