Her ‘mom’ has controlled too much of her life already without any proof or explanations (unless she’s forced to explain but even then it seems she still withholds much of the truth) and she turned Helena into this scared meek, controllable person for over a decade. Being with her mate for like a few days has already unlocked so much of Helena’s true personality that I’d hate to see her mom lock it all up again by asking her to keep more shady secrets! Also I wonder if they’re running not from the dad but the bio mom? Maybe the mom didn’t die and Helena’s ‘mom’ is running cause she stole Helena from her…? I agree with everyone on here that there are too much inconsistencies, unknowns and shade in the “mom’s” stories that make her too suspect. Hopefully Octavius helps Helena see that!

And that the woman Helena has been calling mom was the biological mom handmaid. I also think that she has been lying and that Helena biological mom is not dead and that she kidnapped Helena bc maybe she was the 1 sleeping with Helena dad before dad found his mate. So she kidnapped Helena out of revenge and convinced her that she was her mom. Also they have been at the pack for 10yrs. Which is way after octavious parents had been together for a while. It would make no sense for octavious mom to have cheated or vice versa. Then how did Helena mom find out.
