Oh lala, arriving late I see πβ¨
Last month I finally jumped to make changes so I could improve my health.
My parents are not as agile as before. Mother with 3 surgeries in less than 14 months and father having severe health issues too, I didn't want to be a burden so better now than later, when I wouldn't have any help, probably.
Am a weak hooman. Helps.
I suggested the redesign and they accepted. Then made a sketch of my room, (3, actually) taking measures and reorganizing items in my head. Showed it to my father and even though I didn't want them to pay anything, later I said to split it up since on 27th my birthday was set, as eeeeevery year.
A mistery, really.
And they ended up giving me another bday gift.
Bad thing is, I injured my feet for painting on the ladder for 5 long hours so I've been changing my workout routines and been getting better.
The room makeover took 6 intense days of shopping, cleaning, taking stuff out, recycling and getting strong using the screwdriver (honestly, all those shelves were SO WELL screwed to the walls it hurt) . I almost lost a nail from my hand! Ouch!
Step by step we started seeing changes. My back was sore from sleeping in the sofa so I rushed even more. We got some miraculous fits with new furniture and managed to get all set up ready to go.
The table is a tad unstable because it's long and won't take much kg in the middle so I am wary (it's also my old table, which was on top of a tiny desk for support). At least now the table height is healthier and I have space for my leggies, two monitors and a wall to throw art at.
The only problem now is, my screen tablet doesn't really fit so we'll see how that evolves in the Future, (you may have heard me like the moron I am that I am saving up for an iPad, right?...right...YIKES).
MEANWHILE, this is why last month things got so tight to create content. I could invest thanks to your support! I'm less scared now to make the changes I need and now my back doesnt hurt!! Not due table issues at least hah.
Thanks for reading, SugarSinners!!!
6kg of drawings were harmed in the process.
