I think more bonding time where we see him falling for her the angst etc i still love the book regardless let’s not get it twisted i wanted to chip my commentary

BUT, MAJOR SPOILER if you want it: (don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled ⛔️🚫⛔️As Millie lived as a fugitive with Leander after he lost his Alpha title, she got pregnant and asked him to lay low and stop the war until she gave birth. Leander declined, insisting that his revenge was too important to pause. They got attacked and Millie miscarried her twins, so she left him because his success came at the cost of the pups. He regained his title, land, fame and glory–everything he wanted–but they lost the pups. Heartbroken, Millie sneaks to Europe where it's revealed she was tricked by a healer into believing she lost both twins, but she only lost one. The healer tricked Millie so she could meet Victoria from Swapped Luna and kick-off Victoria's story (dying and reincarnating as a luna) ... SO Helena sensed the desperation in Millie and decided to help her out. Lunas helping Lunas. It turned out to be the right thing to do because it gave Millie her freedom (for a while before she runs into Leander again) and it gave Victoria her reincarnation
