Read studies and data from credible unbiased sources “not think tanks” and make sure you invest time into reading governmental studies and reports as well as royal commission reports. I also recommend the independent as a decent source for online news. Otherwise think tanks and even online media is pretty much garbage and even youtubers with all due respect to Jordie tend to get some stuff wrong so the safest way would be numbers and unbiased data.

Yes I absolutely agree that his comments weren’t the only reason but they were a factor. I also live in a neighbouring electorate to Kogarah and saw first hand how active the liberal candidate Scott yang was at activating and using the Asian vote to his advantage. One day before the election he was standing at Kogarah station straight after a footy match telling people “Dailey is racist” and “there will an express train from Kogarah” no policy regarding the future of the state or anything of value yet he somehow managed a 5 point swing In a safe labor seat. Meanwhile east hills has been shifting demographics towards younger more liberal voters who don’t really care about unions or workers rights and all the basic core values of labor. I think there are a lot of factors but I for one not going to sit back and just give up. Will keep promoting labor values and policies thro the internet and on the street campaigning with unions and labor candidates. I recommend everyone does the same if you value a dignified lifestyle for workers and the vulnerable.

Okay so few things to point out 1. The media is largely owned by big liberal party donors and that’s just a fact 2. I don’t understand your comment regarding gerrymandering as I am not really aware of state elections but from My understand is that the electoral commission draws these lines... correct me if I am wrong 3. No it’s not only white people who care about racism and sexism Kogarah swan 4 points towards the liberals because of Daley’s comments and it’s heavily populated by Asian communities. Now I would say many of my Asian friends voted against labor because of these comments but that doesn’t prove the point as much as the 4 point swing against labor. The media might of misinterpreted Daly’s comments and might be wrong in this case but saying “only white people care about racism and sexism” is bullshit and I for one a minority myself know that I care because I hate watching my mum get yelled at by racist bogans all the time 🤷‍♂️ 5. These minor parties are absolute garbage parties with no actual policies that benefit the people and I am glad you kind of pointed that out. Labor is literally the only party that has been working for and from working people. I think the next step should be us pushing for this dumbed down generation to join the unions and bolster working class bargaining power.
