Greetings one and all!
For this week's Ja Rule's we take a look at the state of private health insurance in this country. John Howard (aka Mr Coconut) found an ingenious way to get young people to start paying for private cover - by threatening them.
The truth of the matter is that if the government diverted all the funds it gives to private health companies into Medicare, we would ALL be better off.

Only reason why I joined that pack of feckless cunts is because we have a pretty healthy corporate discount and for dental they're not too bad. But it shits me that dental isn't fucking covered by Medicare. Dental health is pretty goddamn Important, so why isn't it publicly funded, or at least able to be paid for with Medicare?
2019-10-04 03:54:49 +0000 UTCPrivate Health Insurance in Australia is a massive Ponzi Scheme. It only benefits the ageing generations (i.e Baby Boomers and older generations). Young people gain little or no benefit from taking it out. Often being out of pocket when claims are made. Howard's private health insurance was only to ensure the older populations were protected. Keeping it FJ's nice work!
