Barnaby Joyce can blame the Greens all he wants (as ridiculous as that is) - but it doesn't change the fact that over $100 million has been cut from the NPWS since 2011. The Liberals have absolutely gutted the most important institutions we have in combating these disasters - and the results speak for themselves.
