Sky News' Antisemitism Crashout

Hello Patrons,
After putting out a few divisive videos that started a lot of debates in the comments sections; we thought we'd put out something that nobody could disagree about, a video about Israel and Gaza. What could go wrong?
In particular we wanted to focus on the double standards of Sky News. Typically they are the most chest-thumping "Australia-first" of all the prominent media outlets we have. They have been contorting themselves into knots to catastrophise the treatment of Jewish people in Autralia, even hosting an antisemitism summit. The same outlet which always claims Australians have had a "gutful of being called racist."

If you do those things, you will sin against the Lord your God." That includes babies. Apparently God is still perfectly just and moral in those orders.

2025-03-16 06:01:21 +0000 UTCThe problem is there is a post-modernist, cultural relativism idea of cultural values not able to have a hierarchy of empirical supremacy. This is perpetuated by both extremes of the political spectrum but the conservatives don't admit to using it as a tool, whereas extreme lefties will whine if you say there are issues with misogyny and elitism in some of the cultures that are entering Australia. Australia was founded during a period of egalitarianism which basically proposed that someone was able to move upward in social and economic status if they worked hard because of equality of opportunity... Thanks largely to our labour shortages during colonisation and union movement.

It doesn't mean you don't want Australia to be a country which is how conservatives see multiculturalism (until they accept your cultural background as "white" like Irish, greek, every European country,). Which makes the conservatives fawn of Israel weird. I assume it's just to bash Labor with something convenient.
