Oh Cheeky, so incredibly sorry for your multiple losses. It’s so hard when you lose someone, but especially when it’s their own choice in that. I can’t imagine what you’ve done through, and I can only hope that time will heal those wounds you have. I hope for you you have no more in your life, you’ve certainly lost more than anyone should. Hope you also know we’re here, though I don’t expect you’re the type to talk much, but still… we’re here. It’s very unfortunate how it’s just a business. A lot more people would be alive if mental health were taken seriously. And that’s not even those that have taken their own lives, but those that have mental health issues and take the lives of others as well. So many of those instances, the family comes out and says “they’ve been seen for depression, etc x amount of times” or “if only the police or mental health professionals took xx seriously, this person would still be here today”. Just recently, in a small town outside of the town I came from, a husband murdered his wife and 2 sons and then himself. He had a history of mental health issues and the wife had reached out many times over the years to get him help. Nobody took it seriously, and now an entire family is gone. Right now, there is a manhunt for a man who killed his 3 daughters, also a history of mental health issues since leaving the military. Even after all these instances you’d think they would do something about it, but no. It’s disgusting and heartbreaking.

2025-06-07 00:45:56 +0000 UTCThanks guys. This was very good content. I can't call it a reaction as that's not what it was. The short film was just the right length too, just enough for people with short attention spans to hear the message and not be put off by a big long documentary with lots of big words etc. Your own honesty and discussion was a huge part of this too. I'm not going to go into my own personal struggles, but will say that when it comes to mental health and suicide, it's a subject i am unfortunately too familiar with, having lost 6 very close friends in the last 5 years in exactly the same circumstances, 2 of which have been in the last 6 months. Unfortunately, you are not alone when it comes to the healthcare issue. Medical practices and Hospitals are in fact, a business, these days and we, are the customers. It's a very sad fact that there is not enough help out there and so many charities are no longer funded by the government so struggle massively to keep going and finding volunteers to help others in similar situations.

2025-06-06 09:03:37 +0000 UTCThis is a very important video, something I feel strongly about which is why I popped it on the list and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing it. I also appreciate how candid you were about your own personal lives and struggles and I truly believe that in opening up the way you have, you will help at least 1 person in reflecting and seeking help. I will share a bit about me - I was also practically given an ultimatum when I got with my wife, who had a 2 year old son at the time. I was still going out partying and getting stupid drunk on the regular. She grew up with an alcoholic father and didn't want that future for her son. It was a rude awakening and I've curbed alcohol intake massively as a result, and now rarelty if ever drink around our lad who is now 10. It was a great wakeup call because in reality I was drinking to mask my depression, and I dont think it was even masking it well just exascerbating it. I'd already tried to commit suicide in my teens. Both my parents and at least 1 grandparent that I know have attempted. Both my brothers have. Mental health is something I combat daily, and I dtrongly believe people need to know they are not alone and there are resources out there to help. No matter how you best deal with it, please talk. Let someone know.

2025-06-06 08:54:11 +0000 UTCOh boy, where to start. I'll be honest, I hadn't seen this video, but when it won spin the wheel, I had doubts about it as a reaction video. How wrong was I! A lovely, simple, yet extremely important video. Your "reaction" to it was sublime. Heart felt and deeply honest, you were very open about your own struggles, it was a beutiful reaction. For me the take away is that whilst they're no doubt necessary, a good friend can be far more effective than a pill or a doctor. Love you guys. ❤️
