My old man passed on November 5th 1990. I listened to the Simon and Garfunkel version until I had no more tears. This version made me very emotional 35 years later. Good choice 👍

I remember when this was new and David Draiman said the S&G version was a warning of what might happen and the Disturbed version is those warnings became reality.
If you think of it like that, it's then quite fun for them to coexist.

For Stephen; I think exactly as you've said, as long as you're not pretending its a 1st time reaction i'd still be interested in watching.
Hell, if it was your 10000th time listening to something, i'd still be interested so long as you had something to say about the subject matter, i.e what it means to you, what part you like, does it take you back to a part of your life when you first heard it etc etc
Always interesting stories to be told

Only partway through at time of typing; I can 100% see why this has made you both emotional, not just for the performance but the lyrics and meaning of the song

Disturbed version is my favourite. My dads a big fan of Simon & Garfunkle but even he says this version tips it
