Hey everyone!
I saw some comments in the discord about being able to move ground forces that you've deployed using CTLD or the Hercules to make them more effective, so I thought I'd build something to help you do that!
I'm pleased to announce that now you'll be able to order ground forces to move to destinations that you specify using mission markers using the code I've built titled Command & Conquer.
Simply put, all you need to do is put a mission marker down where you want the group to move to, and specify the groups name exactly as shown (case sensitive). In the attached example shown above you can see I've written in the mission marker "move M1045 HMMWV TOW #2". The code then reads the mission marker, finds the group name in the mission marker and gives them an order to move to this position.
So to be clear its "move groupname" where groupname needs to be exactly as seen on the F10 map which you can get from the box in the bottom left of the screen next to the heading "GROUP".
If you've written the group name exactly as specified/shown, you'll get a message back that the group is moving to a North/East coordinates. If you've written it incorrectly, the mission marker will be deleted and there will be no response to reduce of text pop-ups on screen.
Lastly I've put some controls in place to ensure Command & Conquer is used correctly, mainly
you can't give orders to mission critical units (the units that zones depends on),
you can't give orders to red units,
you can't give orders to ships, planes, helicopters,
you can't give orders to units built through the "Logistics" menu.
I'll post this guide up in our server guide section - https://discord.com/channels/516176484201922560/1137167077162090507
Thanks,
