Status update - New Purple Mass WIP on 25th of February + About the next short animation

First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of recent posts. I honestly felt like a total zombie around the end of last year and couldn't even bring myself to wish you all happy holidays in here. It was rough, to put it simply.
Now luckily, the new year has properly invigorated me, and this past month has been incredibly productive in terms of work. So when I'm saying a new Purple Mass WIP-clip is coming out on the 25th of February, well.. it's gonna be something wonderful!
Once the clip is out, I'll need to take a quick break from Purple Mass again and work on a short animation. Not to worry, this shouldn't take too long to complete! I already got a solid foundation and idea for it, and I think you folks are going to like it!
With the enormous scale of Purple Mass as a project (and Liara's mass too), restricting my feed to just WIP-clips is simply not worth the time investment. By working on the occasional short animation, I can make sure to provide proper finished content for you all to enjoy while allowing the larger project the time it needs to cook in the oven.

What makes your work great to me is the attention to details regarding how close your episodes are to the "feel" of Mass Effect and how they align with the diegesis and atmosphere of this universe, even with its parodic side, of course—there is a touch there, but I've already said that to you once on the last WIPs'; plus, I really like the silences, the time you allow your characters to have on screen: it's never too long and never too short; it feels grounded, immersive. If you persevere into creating short clips, like P. in Point Observation, then I must recommend a short animation with Soni and Nora from AI Curious Episode 2, right? I'm sure you've thought about it already. Other than these two, I'm quite eager to see what you'll create. Cheers! Brindil

2025-01-31 21:59:20 +0000 UTCOnly rough estimate I can give right now is that part 1 may get completed this year, however that is assuming there won't be any more unfortunate surprises as there tend to be. It's best to say this project will be released to the public once it's deemed finished, not earlier, not later. That's just how it is, especially with the team of one animator.
