2025-10-18 22:40:15 +0000 UTCBlur are much more of a 90βs band even thou this is a bit later and Girls and Boys from the early nineties is maybe a track you know if you heard it. In my option one of the greatest British bands, and so diverse. Much more edgy than Oasis (and musically talented dare I say it!) who were their big rival in the 90βs. Most of their hits are on the Parklife Album, but their self titled album with Beetlebum, Song 2 really is one of the best albums of the time.

I go through phases with Blur, either loving them or thinking they're not all that (as I do with Oasis), but Blur were considered the big rival to Oasis during the 'BritPop' boom of the 90s. Hard to say what my favourite is because I change so often on things, but put a gun to my head and i'll go for 'Charmless Man' or 'Coffee & TV' right now

2025-10-17 16:33:42 +0000 UTCBlur are like art rockers, so they did lots of different experimental songs. This is an outlier as there songs are never usually sincere and straightforward. Most famous song here is Parklife, most famous in the US is Song 2 an ironic grunge song they did. My favourites are The Universal and Sing from the Trainspotting soundtrack. Oasis and Blur were the two biggest bands of the 90s britpop era here. Ill add a couple of these to the playlist!
