OMG, so I have a next door neighbor from Shanghai and I'm overseas working in Europe. Thus I worry about my parents as I am not able to enforce the non-socializing with their neighbors while I am here. Our neighbors are nice, they are always being good neighbors and bringing food to my parents and enjoy some conversation in Chinese. However, whenever I have been home (Las Vegas) to visit and I have been next door while they are cooking...they definitely have habits from non-hygiene practices. I told my parents, please don't eat so much of their food...lol I have seen the mom cook and stir the pot and the dumplings flew off onto the floor and I can see that their floor is never clean. She picked them off the floor and put it on the platter and out to serve us and our friends. I of course did not make a big deal, I just didn't eat any... It has nothing to do with social earning class, as the kids who own the house are blackjack table dealers at Aria and Ceasar's Palace. I know they are all making 6 figures. The house they own on the outside looks like a glamourous house, but in the inside, it looks like this wet market. :-0

I have seen the same knives and chopping boards used to cut up the different kinds of meat, from chicken, pork, beef, goat, and duck and never cleaned between meats and this also happens in RT-Mart and the Walmarts it's just so wrong and they wounder way you get sick here, especially when fresh off the boat.
