So after getting ahold of YouTube, and probably with the help of your complaints, the video was remonetized...
Here's the problem. The video got a ton of press, but wasn't being recommended by YouTube, so it was effectively dead in the water, and now that time has passed, and it is remonetized, it won't get any more traction...
Also, am I too stupid to understand their response? I asked why it was demonetized, and got word salad as a response.
To clarify, YouTube literally recommended me to upload early, and make sure my video is checked manually by a human, so I don't risk demonetization. I did that. It was manually reviewed as ok. Then after release, it was manually reviewed again as not acceptable...
Sooooooo... what is the takeaway here? I am bewildered.
