The Death of Reality in China

Comments

I would like to recommend a channel for news of interest to Chinese ppl here, if I may: https://rumble.com/c/SoundofHopeNews I don't know if that is permitted, but I hope so. I love China and the Zhong Guo Ren, but the CCP and the PLA are so reactionary and systemically corrupt that the entire Chinese society is in danger of collapse through their embedded inefficiency and lack of legitimacy of the state. There is so little care for the lives of the Chinese people, even less for the other peoples of the world ~ only care for the continuity of the CCP and PLA. Dystopianism as a generating principle of the state eventually destroys the state and takes down every other state that has aligned with it. Lying to its people and surveilling them to see that they buy into the lies, is a sort of prion disease to the state, corrupting everything it touches, like for instance the giant techs: Youtube, Facebook, twitter, Google, Amazon, et al. Prion disease is slow, but the case fatality rate = 100%. Please consider switching posts from YT to Rumble(?)

Coincidentally, Ars Technica reposted a Wired article today about falsification in research papers out of China, https://arstechnica.com/science/2021/02/the-ai-research-paper-was-real-the-coauthor-wasnt/ . In this case the researchers added an MIT professor onto their authors list who wasn't even slightly involved. Although academic fraud isn't confined to China, it's kind of sad that things have reached the point where everything coming from the country has to be taken with at least a grain of salt. Let's hope things can eventually reverse course, for the good of the Chinese people and for us, too — though I have no idea how that might happen.
