So we told our friend, Jun Li to expect about 20 people at his new branch of Focus BBQ in San Diego... well, it turned out that number was probably 7 or 8 times more. The entire restaurant was packed to the point where it flooded into the parking lot.
It's super incredible that people would drive up to 10 hours to come see two guys from the internet. It really makes you think about the power of YouTube and the internet, and the personal reach it has.
San Diego was one of the most diverse and awesome meet ups we've ever had. To talk to you face to face is not only rewarding, but gives me an idea of who all of you are. You guys are so appreciated.
Because of how insanely packed this was, we are planning on doing exclusively Patreon only events in the future. It makes it much easier to talk to all of you on a more personal level, and all of you guys already have formed a community here.
Either way, a massive turn out, a fun event, and looking forward to seeing all of you Patreons in the next meet up!!!
