Health Tradeoff

Hey Laowinners!

As you can all imagine, we have been pretty busy with the whole child birth ordeal!
Lucia ended up being 8 lbs 14 oz. and she is happy and healthy!

She's been cooing and being cute (for a newborn). I wanted to thank all of you for your kind messages and well wishing.

Unfortunately for me, I ended up getting a very serious infection in my mouth and throat, and have been in the emergency room/hospital for the last 2 days. It started small, and spread quickly, and sparked a 104 degree fever, so I haven't been able to do much, and don't want to affect anyone else. Anyway, I am hoping for a speedy recovery. I'm on tons of strong meds, but nothing is working yet.

Doctor today seems to have figured everything out, so I will be toughing it out for a few more days and I will see whats what.

Vivi is feeling almost 100% already, so that is some good news! She will be sent home today with the baby. Feels really terrible to not be with them right now, but not much I can do.
