Hey Laowinners!
New video is up, and I think you guys will like it. Vivi and I were going through our epic fail wedding photos and having a chuckle, and I wanted to make a fun video with a parody storyline about the different outfits I had to wear.

Chinese New Year was a fun little occasion spent with my parents in law in a dim sum restaurant, and of course the "Hong Bao" were passed out to Vivi, Olivia, Lucia and I.
There is a certain art to giving a red envelope. In many parts of China, only the kids get them, but in Guangdong, if you are unmarried, you can get them too.
There is a certain lament that married couples have to deal with as they pass out little red pockets of their hard earned cash to all of the kids in the family. The words "xin nian hao" send shudders down the spines of people who have to hand them out.

Thankfully, we didn't have to deal with that since we are celebrating in the USA. One thing that I found kind of funny is that Vivi's parents gave all of us RMB, and not US dollars. Not much use here, but I suppose it led to an interesting conversation when Olivia asked me who the bald dude was on the 100 RMB note. She pointed at chairman Mao and said "he is a good guy?".

If you do celebrate Chinese New Year, happy new year to you! Thank you for all of your generosity and support!
