Dying (of heat) in the Valley of Death

Hey Laowinners!

You guys have probably already seen the white Russian Chinese people clip, but here is the full video, where we headed to a derelict salt water lake at the entrance of Death Valley.

Being away from the USA for 10 years, it's been fun to explore some weird areas that I've missed out on. In between going to different countries (headed to a new one soon!), we haven't stopped the adventures!

It went from about 70 degrees to 104 degrees VERY quickly! Super interesting, and awesome roads! Apparently it used to be an awesome resort area back in the day, called Desert Shores.

Now it's full of heroin addicts (like this dude who came out of an abandoned fire station swinging a syringe around... maybe it was insulin... yeah right) and trailer parks. Pretty sad to see, but thus is life.

Our lease in our little rental is up, so bags are packed and we're ready to find another place! I feel bad for Olivia, since she's changed homes about 4 times in a year, but some day we will have the money to settle down somewhere!

She's been practicing her "evil face" as she calls it. She also made friends with a Chinese girl, and they've been speaking Chinese to each other, which is super cute.

New video about "Why China is so Uncool" was an interesting look at China's lack of entertainment exports compared to other countries. Hope you guys enjoyed it!

Video coming up this week is "Why Chinese people Hate Small Talk", followed by two videos related to "5 Things Vivi Hates About Me".
