Truly scary. Now after seeing the Olympic opening ceremony clips with the throwbacks to Maoist Cultural Revolution times I hope the world’s democratic and free nations will scrutinize China’s motives and human rights abuses more closely. The absolute gall to have a Uigur front and center in the ceremony as if a genocide their people isn’t happening.

Those little kids spouting nationalist jargon look jargon look just like the Nazi Youth, yikes. I didn't realise "socialism with chinese characteristics" means it has no socialism. That's kind of funny. I mean, a socialist and nationalist country without social programs is just a fascist government. Which I guess I already knew the CCP is, but it makes it more obvious. Maybe the CCP got tired of being communist and switched to being fascist in 1979? I mean Hitler and others were communist at first, until they got tired of the bickering and infighting of the communist clubs they were in early on.
