2023-10-03 15:18:07 +0000 UTCSomehow my phone number got into somebody's database. I enjoy popping CCP propaganda balloons on FB posts by Global Times and other outlets. Sometimes in Mandarin. Then all of a sudden I'm getting texts in Hanzi from unknown numbers. "Wrong numbers" looking for tutors for their kid, a babysitter, a pen pal, or a nice new friend to maybe get together and have a few drinks with. Ruh-roh... Funny part was getting the exact same message, in Hanzi, with the same odd spacing and the same wild collection of emojis, from one number and then later from two other numbers. All supposedly from California. I'm in South Carolina. Not likely to pop out to the local watering hole to have a few drinks and share some friendly conversation. Also had one try to lure me into the honey trap, but she was a subtle as a train wreck. It took three messages for her(?) to get to the point of offering to send me nude pics and ask for some of me. Oh, hell no! On the Huawei phone post by Global Times, I about got gang-raped by wumao for daring to question Chinese tech supremacy. Got so bad that some of their comments were not even showing up before I could report them. I'm thinking I got under their skin a little bit. After I'd play them a bit, I'd block them. I lost count, but I think I blocked around 15 accounts from wumao and tankies. Easy to spot with their usual rhetoric, repeated comments/memes/video links and boring non-sequitur whataboutism BS. Also pretty obvious when they drop the same cut-and-paste hate comment on multiple comments that are not falling for the propaganda. The sweet irony of it all is that the Facebook algorithm that counts things has identified me as a "Top Fan" of Global Times.

Oh, for the heck of it I did a search for Chinese prostitutes on google...serpentza comes up with a girl...3rd photo from left...no kidding!
