Hi Guys,
I was thinking about how could I shorten the time between 2 VR-Amazons VR experience releases and you have some new stuff to enjoy. Here a solution:
I will try to build each month, without a new release of the VR-Amazons main experience game "Femtropia", a small spinn-off of something else.
This can be a small scene I've built for video production or testing other stuff , throw a player camera in, add some other stuff needed for game play (so you don't fall off the world) and give it to you. These small experiences won't be tweaked too much for quality and removed glitches.
Yes the rumours are true, 80% of the working time is needed for the last 20% tweaking and polishing. Building these small unpolished releases of already existing scenes to a VR experience takes me about 2 full days extra time. But I guess it's the best solution for all. You get more stuff, and I hopefully loose less patrons in the waiting time, money I really need to get this all done.
And it doesn't take much time away from the main game "Femtropia" development, because I can easily port, for example importet and game rigged figures, from one to the other.
Btw, did you know, just to import a new character and make him all game ready can take up to a full time week?
Now, as said, this spin-off is not polished, eg. the main menu is missing (I'm using latest release of Unity game engine, and couldn't figure out in time, why my established menu system isn't working any more. Aaahrg). You might could walk through a wall etc.
To leave the game, best press the "Windows Key" and kill it in the windows task bar (close window). Also there is no interaction, they are just VR viewing experiences, you can move around with the camera like a player.
Therefor file size is quite small, and game loading time extreme short. (3 seconds on my PC from SSD :-) ). And you get the newest muscle girls in VR, not yet in the main product. YEAH :-)
Have fun!
