Info regarding VR-Amazons at the end.
Now this video is something different. As some might have noticed I'm working in first case with the Unity game engine. About a year ago or two, they announced a new possibility of rendering.
The High Definition Render Pipeline - HDRP - which you can choose instead of the Build-In. This was all the time in Beta, and maybe still it is, their information politics is a little confusing. I always wanted to switch to HDRP, because I was quite impressed of the results, but couldn't, because it needs complete new materials ,build with different shaders. And most props and all character materials aren't made with these shader. So I need to build them myself. Me, who always tried to avoid working directly with shaders. It's a science by itself. Now I dared to make the step, and nearly most of July went in this project.
In this video you see a first result. It's just ment to take a look at the new look ;-) I wanted to make a complete armwrestling video, but time was against me. I will finish it in August. Human skin is still a challenge, and I'm unhappy with the eyes. I needed to switch to another eye model, because I couldn't get my favourite to work in HDRP. Still trying.
But this unfinished video is also a chance for you: How shall the story go on? I will also do a small pre-story, how it came to the match. So please write in the comments, what shall happen now? Ideas I have: She brakes his arm, he wins ... OK, kidding ;-) , while left arm- wrestling she crushes his metal hand armor ... but I'm not sure what is technically possible. So again, I hear your ideas, and maybe what you think about the new look. With time I will switch all projects to HDRP step by step.
The video is currently unlisted on Youtube, so you are the first.

VR-Amazons
Regarding VR-Amazons, my plan is to switch to HDRP step by step too. I'm just currently unsure how costly HDRP is, how much it will influence the framerate.
First tests showed it can have much impact on the framerate. It can slow down heavy. It can, but what I've read, it mustn't too much. It really depends, which effects I use. Something I still need to collect experience on.
First I will try to put the scene you see in the video, in a VR experience. I also made first tests on Femtropia, and could convert most materials to HRDP ready. More info on Femtropia shortly.
